With a Serie A star praising for Bafana for being stubborn but playing beautiful football and saying they are among the best in teams in Africa, fans have now shared their thoughts on  his statement.

What's the story?

AS Roma star Houssem Aouar is likely to be amongst the action when Algeria take on Bafana Bafana in a FIFA Series international friendly and was speaking ahead of the encounter.

"We will face a stubborn team that plays beautiful football, and the most prominent evidence of that is what it presented in the last African Cup of Nations," he said, per Kooora."The match will be good, given that the two teams are considered among the best [in Africa]."

Here's what the readers had to say in response to his statements:

"I blame Sundowns players for this," Mc U Be said.

"Bafana is nothing without Sundowns players," says Lucky Ncala.

"Beautiful football and winning are two different things, when last did Bafana win a major tournament with their beautiful football?" says Lolo Makgatho.

"It's Sundowns players that brought good playing style," says Bokang Kakapa.

"That's why the coach started 7 or 8 Sundowns players to form the core of his team. At Supersport Utd they didn't play that style. Fortunately, the whole country benefited, they reached a very decent stage,' says Chere Ntoampe.

"I am a Sundowns fan.....Mara Bafana Bafana represents south Africa not Sundowns," says Thapelo Thobejane.

"Pirates players are playing Gqom," says Ow Africa Ow.

"SuperSport helped Sundowns to be where they are now, without SuperSport the would be no Sundowns," says Zolani Mqushulu.

Meanwhile, Kaizer Chiefs are believed to be in a phase of reflection as many believe that for a club as big as them to go nine years without winning a piece of silverware marks a calamity.

Check out what the KO readers had to say about it:

"A girl who was once the talk of town and now she is down and out and the only thing that's left is the history," this chick used to be beautiful" just like chiefs this girl used to be called glamorous... that's Kaizer Chiefs for you. How the mighty have fallen; even Milford are chowing!" says Tumisang Mamabolo.

"As things stands l don't see them winning any trophy even next season," says Gatsheni Mandla Brighton.

"Pleasures of having a rich dad. If it was a coach, they would've been long gone by now. A wise man once said: 'Hard times create strong man while a soft life creates: MOTAUNG KIDS'," writes Thabo Nkosi.

"After 20 years of drought i see Chiefs winning the Telkom knockout. By then it would be back. For sure that will be the trophy to end their drought. For now, even if they sign Kevin De Bruyne, Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo they won't win anything," says Bothwell Mduduzi Ndlovu.

"They could have just run it as a company it could work but since they run it as an Enterprise," says Joseph Somanje.

"You have the real cause of the Kaizer Chiefs problems right in front of your face, Bobby and Kaizer Jnr. The sooner they are reshuffled the better," says Zenzele Makhanya.

"The team that matters in South Africa... All South Africans are Kaizer Chiefs FC Fans," says Daniel Mthabela.

"Bobby must swallow his pride and go back to brown envelope," says Tlale Simon Phumo.
